1. Accepting these terms
By using LiveNote — the note-taking and sharing service at piratebots.in/livenote — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. What LiveNote is
LiveNote is a free web-based notepad. It lets you create pages, share them by link, and edit them together with other people in real time. It can be used without an account; accounts are optional and add features such as a dashboard, cross-device sync, and two-factor authentication.
3. Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for the activity that happens under your account. Accounts are free. You may close your account at any time; see the privacy policy for what is deleted and when.
4. Your content
Your notes are yours. We claim no ownership of anything you write or upload. To operate the service, you give us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as needed to run LiveNote — for example, saving a note, showing it to people you share it with, or including it in your own searches. This license exists only to provide the service and ends when your content is deleted.
You are responsible for the content you create and share. Do not use LiveNote to store or distribute material you do not have the rights to.
5. Collaboration and sharing
When you share a note, anyone who accesses it through the share link acts under these terms too. Sharing options (read-only, editable, one-time, expiring, password-protected) are controls we provide in good faith — choose the one that matches how much you trust the link’s recipients. Once a page is open to the people you shared it with, we cannot un-see it for them; treat share links like keys.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use LiveNote to break the law or harm others. Specifically, do not: upload or share unlawful content, including content that infringes copyright; distribute malware; harass or threaten people; publish other people’s personal data without their consent; attempt to break the service’s security, rate limits, or access controls; use the service to send spam or run automated scraping or abuse; or use anonymous notes as cover for activity you would not sign your name to.
7. Availability and changes
LiveNote is provided free and as-is. We work hard to keep it fast and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and features may change. Notes are stored with care, but no free service is a backup plan: keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
8. Suspension and termination
You can stop using LiveNote at any time and delete your notes or account. We may suspend or terminate accounts, or remove content, that violate these terms — for example, reported unlawful content or sustained abuse of the service. Where practical, we will tell you why.
9. Disclaimers and limitations
LiveNote is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or use, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The “last updated” date below changes when they do, and continued use of LiveNote after an update means you accept the revised terms.
